Prerequisite: Students should be able to center and make a 4” cylinder.

Explore making various sizes and styles of lidded containers in a relaxed and fun studio setting. Design considerations for each type of vessel will be discussed and demonstrations will be given. Individual instruction will be given to help students develop greater proficiency on the wheel. We will be taking the clay from its raw state through glazed finished ware.

Join Sharon for an all-levels yoga class that will focus on simple exercises—many of which can be done from a chair—which focuses on countering the effects of crafting on the hands, arms, shoulders and hips. We’ll explore how movement might help us focus, create, and bravely send our ideas into the world! 

No previous yoga experience is needed. Much of our practice will be done seated in chairs or stools. Modifications will be taught for those who wish to work from the floor or yoga mat.
